Disposable Pressure Transducer Cartridge & Disposable Pressure Transducer Dome
- Evaluation of the lower urinary tract function through a variety of diagnostic tests including uroflowmetry, cystometry, urethral pressure profile, pressure-flow studies are conducted in patients with lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS), in conjunction with urodynamic equipment’s like a urine flow meter, urodynamic machine, infusion pumps & pressure measuring equipment.
- Disposable Diaphragm Domes are used during the above testing procedures. Important components of the pressure dome includes the main dome body, the male & female luer connectors & a membrane diaphragm which snugly fits onto the reusable pressure transducer. This diaphragm acts as an interface between fluid (urine) & the transducer which picks up the pressure wave from the urine flow, which it subsequently converts to an electrical impulse which is displayed as the flow pressures on the monitor.
