Infusion Therapy

Infusion therapy involves the administration of infuscate through an IV cannula needle or catheter in the peripheral veins.
When medication cannot be administered orally, it must be administered through the peripheral vein.
Medical conditions commonly requiring infusion therapy include severe dehydration, gastrointestinal diseases, or disorders that prevent the normal functioning of the gastrointestinal tract, cancer & infections which are resistant to oral antibiotics among other serious ailments.
